BOLDFACED LIES Summary
In 1925, an estimated 4,000,000 Americans were dues-paying members of the revived Confederate era white supremacist Ku Klux Klan. Approximately 50,000 to 1000,000 resided in and around Denver, Colorado. Margaret Browne, dutiful wife of a ruthlessly ambitious Denver KKK leader, and stepmother to his son, learns that she is one-quarter Negro.
